Oh For Tuna
What is it about a tin of tuna that immediately sets off alarm bells in our feline household!? I hadn’t even opened the bloomin’ tin before there was a small army of apparently half starved badlies yelling, tripping me up and staring at me in a needy fashion.
I thought that tuna mayo and salad would be a nice lunch so I opened the tin with a tin opener (no handy pully thing on this tin) and proceeded to squeeze all the brine out down the plug hole. I had hardly walked away from the sink before William was in the sink lapping juice out of the plug hole. I tend to ignore the cat’s small lapses into bad behaviour especially if it is something they are mad about so I went and sat down with my yummy lunch.
The next thing I know there is a small tinkling of metal as something is being pushed about the kitchen so I sneak around the corner so that whoever it is isn’t disturbed to find Scooter licking the back of the plug on the other side of the kitchen! I love sneaking up on them when I suspect a crime is being commited because if I go in shouting or waving my arms I never quite catch them in the act. Needless to say there was huge disappointment when I removed the plug, washed it and put it back.
