These General Conditions are the only conditions that are applicable & replace all other conditions, except in the case of express, written, prior dispensation. We maintain that, by confirming your booking, you have read & do unreservedly accept our General Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are important to you and Cats Tales Pet Care as they are used to protect your rights as a valued customer & our rights as a business.

Changes to the terms of service and the website

Cats Tales Pet Care is an evolving business, and as such things may change, be added or be taken away. We reserve the right to update the Website & these Terms of Service from time to time, at our discretion & without any notice. It is solely your responsibility to keep up-to-date with the latest Terms and Conditions by checking back regularly. Your continued use of the Website following the publishing of updated Terms of Service will be taken to mean that you have read & agree to the changes.

Website access

While we endeavour to ensure that our website is normally available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason this website is unavailable at any time or for any period. Access to this website may be suspended temporarily & without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control.

Booking agreement

You agree to Cats Tale Pet Care having keys, key box code and the alarm code to Your house whilst We are visiting Your property.

You understand that it is the owner’s responsibility to have the required amount of food, medication, cat litter and bedding available for Cats Tales Pet Care to use to maintain correct husbandry and care for Your pet. If any additional needs to be bought by Cats Tales Pet Care there will be a charge of £20 in addition to the price of purchase. Cats Tales Pet Care will provide receipts for these purchases.

You understand that whilst every care will be given to Your pets / home they are looked after entirely at Your own risk. 

You understand that you are responsible for the legibility and intelligibility of any written instructions regarding dosing and administration of medication to your pet and although Cats Tales Pet Care will check all instructions and question them if necessary, they are not responsible for any mistakes in administrating medication. Cats Tales Pet Care will endeavour to contact you if any questions are raised or revert to following the prescribed instructions on the medication label.

Cats Tales Pet Care accepts no responsibility for your pet outside of your home unless they are transporting them to the vets.

You authorise Cats Tales Pet Care to call a Veterinary Surgeon on Your behalf and to transport Your pet to the Vet in an emergency situation. Please let your Vet know that you have authorised this. 

You agree that You are responsible for payment of any veterinary fees incurred whilst Your pet is under the care of Cats Tales Pet Care.

You accept that no refund will be given should You arrive home before the final agreed date of care and that You take back responsibility for Your pets as soon as You arrive home.

Prices

The total to pay will be displayed on the invoice for each individual booking, and will consist of a minimum of one visit daily. Bank holiday charges will be liable to a £10 surcharge per visit. Vet visit charges will be £20 per visit (to a local vets).

You agree to pay the agreed amount no later than the date of the first visit. 

You agree that if You cancel Your booking within 5 days of the commencement of the booking then You will pay 50% of the final amount. You agree that if You cancel Your booking within 24 hours of the commencement of the booking then You will pay 100% of the final amount. 

Intellectual ownership

All the website & social media content at Cats Tales Pet Care is the property of Cats Tales Pet Care. Any partial or total reproduction of this content, along with any commercial reselling of any products or designs (online and offline), by any means and on any support, is subject to prior and express authorisation by Cats Tales Pet Care. All information, content and files is protected by international law concerning intellectual ownership and copyright. Cats Tales Pet Care cannot give you the right to copy, display or distribute content to which you do not have the intellectual rights. All fraudulent use of this content that violates the rights held by a third party constitutes an offence of forgery, which is severely punished under the Intellectual Property Code.

Cats Tales Pet Care will not, under any circumstances, be held responsible if a user violates rights held by a third party through their activities on the site.

As part of Your booking agreement you will have been given the opportunity to allow Cats Tales Pet Care to publish pictures of Your pet on website and social media or other platforms for information and interest purposes. You can opt out of this permission at any time.
